Utilizing the latest innovations in concrete materials, The Lefty is constructed of solid, light-weight, glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC). An additional middle layer of glass fiber mesh is added for even more strength.

In order to ensure optimal ergonomics, preliminary full-scale models were fabricated and contoured to ensure the most comfortable lumbar support and reclining position. While head and seat cushions are not needed, they can be made-to-order in any fabric or design, adding a subtle plush aesthetic to any seating color and armrest combination.
